Our company is specialised in the production and sale of food packaging, containers for food preservation and cooking products. Always mindful of qualitative excellence, innovation and sustainability, Cuki Cofresco serves both the 'Consumer' and the 'Professional' market with more of 4,000 products.

Our Story

Conservation is a crucial part of the food industry production cycle; for over fifty years now, we have been investing substantially in this particular sector, in terms of technological research, innovative entrepreneurship, an integrated industrial system, and rational production diversification in line with the demands of an equally diversified market.

Our production in fact primarily concerns wrapping and containers for food, but over the years has developed to include a range destined for the home storage market under the Domopak Living brand, in addition to a range of bin liners made from recycled and recyclable material of plant origin under the brand Domopak Spazzy.

  • 1958

    Comital SpA is formed.

  • 1968

    The Cuki brand name is registered.

  • 1998

    Comital Cofresco SpA is created as a joint venture between Comital SpA and Cofresco Frishhalteprodukte GmbH in anticipation of production rises in mass-consumption products, with the industrial and commercial contributions of Cuki and Domopak respectively, both leading brands in the field of consumer product packaging.

  • 2000

    Acquisition of Europack, specialised in the production of aluminium and plastic food packaging for the professional sector.

  • 2008

    Cuki Professional is formed through a merger between Comital Horeca and Europack. Its mission is to best satisfy the needs of professional clients in Italy and abroad, by providing food packaging made from aluminium, plastic and PET-coated paper.

  • 2010

    Cuki Cofresco S.r.l. becomes the new name of Comital Cofresco S.p.A., created to strengthen the Cuki brand as the market leader in food preservation and cooking. Cuki Cofresco S.r.l. begins operating in the professional market under the Cuki Professional brand.

  • 2013

    Cuki Cofresco S.r.l. acquires control of the Turkish company operating in the Ilmak Makina Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS sector, with headquarters and plant in Istanbul, so as to better serve the markets in the Balkans and Middle East by means of a direct production and commercial presence.

  • 2017

    CUKI Cofresco Srl creates Cuki France, with headquarters and plant in La Terrasse, with the aim of serving and presiding over the French market, in addition to many European markets, including Benelux, Switzerland, Spain and the UK.

  • 2018

    A joint venture is formed with Polish company Cuki Alfatec, with headquarters and plant in Poznań, destined to develop expansion projects for the various Eastern European markets.

  • 2019

    Melitta Group Management GmbH & Co. KG acquires 100% of Cuki Group SpA shares.
